The parish of St Augustine takes the safeguarding and care of children and vulnerable adults very seriously, understanding Safeguarding to be everybody’s responsibility.
We are committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of all who worship with us, take part in our activities, or visit our premises. St Augustine’s Church follows the House of Bishops’ Promoting A Safer Church policy and the Safeguarding requirements of the Diocese of Southwark.
We follow the Safer Recruitment and People Management policy. All those working with children/adults at risk are safely recruited, trained, and supported in line with Church of England guidance.
