Marriage & Civil Partnership Blessings
Many couples wish to mark a special milestone in their relationship, such as an anniversary or a significant point in your journey together. The Church offers services of thanksgiving and prayer, where you can renew your vows, give thanks for your life together, and receive God’s blessing for the years to come.
If you have been married in a civil ceremony, you can also come to church for a special Service of Prayer and Dedication after a Civil Marriage. This allows you to celebrate your marriage before God, with family and friends gathered in worship.
For couples who have entered a civil partnership, St Augustine’s can offer prayers of thanksgiving and blessing to affirm your commitment and to ask for God’s blessing on your life together.
